PRIVATE URINE TESTING:

This type of test can detect the 9 major drugs of abuse for approximately 2-7 days and marijuana for up to 30 days. It is very important that you do NOT give the Donor any advance notice of your intent to conduct urine drug testing, because urine drug testing can be affected by the donor ingesting large amounts of liquids just prior to testing. It is best to inform the donor no more than 30 minutes prior to actually performing the test. Don't except any excuses….

PRIVATE HAIR OR FINGERNAIL TESTING:

This type of testing can detect the 6 major drugs of abuse for up to 3 months for head hair and up to 6 months for body hair and fingernail. However, for first time drug users the drug can take up to 10 days to reach the hair follicle, so it is important to ensure you do NOT test too quickly if “first time” drug use is suspected. Hair & urine testing is always suggested, when any drug or alcohol use is suspected.
