"How can I avoid a 'False Positive' Test Result?"

sample processed at our facility:

We use only "Forensic" based testing methods, NOT inferour medical tests;

Nationally certified and properly trained sample collectors;

Nationally accredited sample collection facilities;

Federally certified labs (SAMHSA/DHHS);

Our staff collects only one donor sample at a time;

Samples are sealed, packaged and processed in the donor's presence;

Bar coded Chain of Custody documentation and bottle seals;

Strict sample controls & security "Chain of Custody";

Samples are screened for all known adulterants, PRIOR to testing;

Samples are screened for dilution, PRIOR to testing (Donor flush-outs);

Samples are screened via EMIT for the 9 major drugs of abuse;

Samples are "Confirmed" via GC/MS, the Gold standard (99.8% accurate!);

Results are reviewed by our nationally certified Medical Review Officer (MRO);

The MRO interviews the donor, to inquire about prescription medication use;

The MRO researches the other reasons for a "Suspect Positive" test, with donor;

The MRO issues a written "Final Result" to the employer, after the Inquiry is complete;

CAL-TEST reviews all documentation, then consults with employer on employee action.
